Clear your calendar! DC Women In Beer is hosting a Denizens Brewing Co. Happy Hour on Thursday, May 21st, where you can drink beer and support a good cause, too. The Black Squirrel (2427 18th St NW) is the meeting spot for a night with Denizens Brewing Co. and DC Metro Girls Pint Out in support of Calvary Women's Services. Happy Hour starts at 5:30 and goes until 8 p.m.Â
Come one, come all, bring a guest, meet the women of Denizens Brewing Co. and DC Metro Girls Pint Out, drink some beer, and support Calvary Women's Services.
Twenty percent of the proceeds are earmarked for the charity. You also can support women in need by buying a raffle ticket to win a private Denizens brewery tour,
a hoodie, T-shirts, and glassware. One-hundred percent
of the raffle sales will benefit Calvary.
The women of Denizens Brewing, DC Metro Girls Pint Out, and The Black Squirrel are throwing a Happy Hour for good beer and good works. Hear how the brain trust of Denizens went from bureaucrats to brew-aucrats in 2014, when they opened a production brewery in Silver Spring.
